VENDOR FEES

This is a juried event. Accepted vendors are notified within 2 weeks of receipt of application and issued an invoice for vendor fee. For best consideration, include photographs or a website URL with images of your products for the festival advisory team to review and make their decision.

In addition to your vendor fee, vendors must pay City sales tax at a rate of 5%. You will receive details on how to do this when you arrive at the festival.

Thank you for your interest in the Noble Street Festival. Your application will be reviewed by our festival advisory team. If selected, you will be notified no later than March 30, 2018.

Event Information and Policies

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

The event began in 2002 through grassroots volunteer efforts. Today, it has grown! The race is managed by a professional race management team and streamed on LIVESTREAM. NSF is managed by the City of Anniston with volunteer support from numerous organizations and a portion of festival proceeds donated to Relay for Life.

 

Attendance for the one-day event averages 4,000 with peak attendance from noon to 2 PM and again in the evening during the professional category men's and women's races.

 

 

PROMOTIONS

NSF and the Sunny King Criterium are broadly promoted via radio, television, social media, State tourism department resources, local and regional newspapers and more. Promotions for the next year begin almost as soon as the festival is over! Vendors registered by Feb. 1 are included in the online NSF vendor listing.

 

SET UP/BREAK DOWN

Set-up Begins: Saturday, April 7, at 6 AM

Set-up Complete/vehicles moved: By 10 AM

Break Down: Saturday, April 7, 8 PM

 

A festival map is e-mailed to vendors one week prior to the festival. Review this map so that upon arrival you know how to enter the festival, where to set up and where to park vehicles. We want you to be successful; therefore, we strategically assign each vendor to a location that is most suitable for maximum exposure. Please do not ask to be moved.

 

Spikes are not allowed in the pavement. Vendors are not permitted to exceed designated marked space. If you believe you will need more space than 10x10-foot, you are welcome to purchase an additional booth space.

 

PARKING AND TRAFFIC

The festival area and race course is closed to traffic in the early morning on the day of the festival. Understanding how to access the festival area for set-up is important. In addition to your vending trailer/tent, you are allowed one vehicle in the vendor area to unload supplies during setup. All vehicles used for supplies must be removed from the festival area no later than 10 AM. Parking for vehicle(s) is available within walking distance from the vendor area. You will receive further instructions in advance e-mail communications.

 

 

 

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR VENDORS

  • Supply your own electricity, unless you are a food or Kidzone vendor.
  • Bring your own tables/chairs or rent locally.
  • Port-a-potties are provided for all. Locations are indicated on the festival map, e-mailed to you in advance.
  • Bring trash bins/bags for trash generated by you and patrons at your booth. A trash collection area is provided.
  • Keep your vending area neat and clean.
  • April in the Southeastern United States can produce windy, unpredictable weather. Professional tent weights are strongly recommended as are methods to secure merchandise.
  • Be true to your description of what you intend to sell. If festival organizers believe you have falsely represented your product line, you will be asked to leave.

 

RAIN PLAN

NSF will not close during intermittent rain, unless the weather pattern suggests severe weather. Come prepared! No refunds on vendor fees.

 

INDEMNIFICATION

Noble Street Festival reserves the right to refuse any vendor application. Should this occur, the application fee submitted by the vendor would be refunded. Once an application is accepted, no refunds will be given for any reason. The Vendor shall defend, save, and hold harmless the City of Anniston, Alabama, their respective officers, agents, board members, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and assigns from any claims, damages, losses, liability, or expense which may arise, and shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage due to fire, accident, theft, weather, acts of God, vandalism, or any other loss or injury whatsoever or not specifically described herein, whether past, present, or future. Booths are not insured by the City of Anniston, Alabama, Noble Street Festival or any sponsoring agents. Exhibitors must make provisions for safeguarding their goods. Exhibitors must have replacement cost insurance for all personal property. Exhibitor assumes full liability for protecting, care, and maintenance of exhibitor’s property. ANY VENDOR NOT HOLDING VALID LIABILITY INSURANCE EXHIBITS AT THEIR OWN RISK AND ASSUMES ALL LIABILITY.
